How We Approach Logo Design: A Cybersecurity Brand Success Story

We didn’t ignore those references, security needs to be visible, but we wanted to bring something fresh that captured both strength and modern technology.

Step 2: Choosing the Right Colors & Typography in Logo Design


The next stage of the logo design process was choosing the right colors and fonts. We selected deep navy as the foundation to convey trust and authority, paired with lighter blues and steel tones for modernity. To give the design energy, we added a subtle green accent. These choices were not random, colors influence how people feel, and we wanted a palette that reflected both reliability and innovation simultaneously.

For typography, we combined Amaranth, Avenir, and Agrandir. Amaranth provided personality, Avenir offered clarity and professionalism, and Agrandir brought in a modern, flexible touch. Together they gave the logo both seriousness and approachability.

Step Three: Concepts and Style Guide


Once we had the strategy in place, it was time to sketch and experiment. We explored several ideas, from city skylines to circuit-inspired motifs, always keeping the shield as a central theme. After refining the best concepts, we tested them in different sizes and formats, black and white, color, small digital icons, and larger print layouts.


The chosen design combined a shield with a stylized cityscape, supported by circuit lines. This symbolized security, technology, and community all in one.


To ensure consistency, we created a comprehensive style guide. It includes approved color codes, logo variations, font usage, and spacing rules. This gives Town1st Tech a toolkit to apply their brand identity anywhere without losing cohesion in logo usage, spacing, or color codes, ensuring that the brand stays consistent.

Step Four: Finalizing the Logo & Deliverables


Once the client approves the final design, we deliver:

  • Vector formats (SVG, EPS) for scaling.

  • Raster formats (PNG, JPG) for web and print.

  • Monochrome and color versions.

  • Real-world mockups.
